Surrey & Hants are located in Queen Street in Godalming and is a member of The Guild of Lettings and Management.

Surrey & Hants are an independent letting agent and as such provide a professional and personal service to both landlords and tenants that so many corporate companies are unable to do. Unlike a lot of larger letting agents we do not centralise our administration team in some far off remote town where the staff do not know our landlords and tenants. We have a small and friendly team based in our office in Godalming.

Surrey & Hants specialise in lettings and do not sell properties. We are not another estate agent predominately selling property and just dabbling in lettings.

Surrey & Hants advertise extensively both locally and nationally, thus increasing the number of properties let. You will find us in the major websites such as Findaproperty, Rightmove and Primelocation, we are also the only Godalming agent to have display adverts in The Yellow Pages and Thomson Local as well as being in Yell.com. We advertise in the local paper The Surrey Advertiser and have a full page colour advert every week in the local papers The Godalming Times, The Guildford Times and The Cranleigh Times. You will even find us on the back of Apollo dvd and video boxes!

The Dispute Service letter regarding your deposit

You may well have received a letter from The Dispute Service Limited informing you the their insurers will not be able to insure Surrey & Hants as of April 09, as we are not members of the National Association of Estate Agents or The Royal Instituiton of Chartered Surveyors, or the National Approved Lettings Scheme (N.A.L.S.).

Dont panic!

In light of the fact that The Dispute Service Limited insurers no longer wanting to insure any letting agent who is not a member of one of their preferred bodies, Surrey & Hants is in the process of joining My Deposits.co.uk which is similar to the TDS as an insurance based scheme (deposits held by Surrey and Hants in client money protected accounts) and means that your deposit is protected in the same way.
